I have always had my car serviced At Lindsay Transmission. No one else will touch my car. They are the best, and always give me a through walk-through diagnosis of exactly what they are doing to my car and why. My transmissions have always shifted very well on all my cars, mostly because Kit and his staff have serviced my cars for years. I have peace of mid when i am taking long trips, or just tooling around town that my transmission will not fail. These guys are the best and really know there stuff. I wont go anywhere else.

Kit, Please tell your technicians that my truck finally shifts correctly after having it repaired at your shop. Thank you! Also, the shift indicator on the dash board has never shown the correct gear; it always indicated that it was in between gears. Now, it finally points to the correct gear. You must have adjusted the linkage to the indicator. This seems like a minor detail, but it's comforting to know that a shop would fix a problem that's indirectly related to the real problem and do it without being asked specifically about it. This tells me that your shop pays attention to the details. Therefore, if you've gone out of your way to fix a minor problem, I can rest assured that you correctly fixed the real problem. Thanks for the informative video explanation. It is a breath of fresh air in the auto repair/service field. Again, makes me glad we chose Lindsay Transmission. There is no rush for this vehicle. Of course we need it, but both of us are off work for this week and can manage in her Sebring convertible. Nyuk. Nyuk. You mentioned in our phone conversation the butcher's bill should be $3000 +/-. I expect the leaking cooler hoses will add to that. Is this correct? Which brings me to method of payment. Do you accept Mastercard? Thanks again for the somewhat gruesome (Radiator lines being flushed looked like Frankenstein on dialysis) images. It sure beats phases like: "blowed up".

Kit, You and your crew have worked on my trucks for over 5 years now, the first was an amazing bullet proof transmission for my 2001 Dodge 1 ton diesel truck that I pulled trailers over the road with. After you got done with it was absolute magic. You couldn't get it hot or even warm in the rocky mountains. I even went up against a nor'easter in Canada and that would have torn the transmission out of any other truck! Great job creating the perfect answer to my needs. I have had several issues with different vehicles since the big Dodge and you have always done great work and treated me fairly. In my opinion you are the best and only man/shop to take transmission work to. As you know I will not hesitate to send family and friends to your shop for all there transmission issues.I have to say that the kind of integrity and professional service that you give is rare and refreshing. Our 1993 Ford Crown Vic had been grinding, growling, and shuddering for months and we reluctantly faced the fact that we might have to replace the transmission. My husband saw your ad in the Star Advertiser and stopped by to see you last month. You immediately seemed to know what he was talking about and suggested that you first try replacing all of the transmission fluid. I brought the car in a few days later and you replaced the fluid. The car drives like a dream now. Feels and sounds like a new car! We thank you for fixing our car and not taking advantage of us.

Dear President Russ Coleman- At a recent meeting of the Warrensburg Rotary Club, I heard Marion Woods call for nominations leaking to a Four Way Test Award. With this letter I would like to nominate Mr. Kit Lindsay of Lindsay Transmission for this award. Last summer during our District Conference in Warrensburg, the Rotary International President's Representative from Canada arrived in town driving his motor home. He had been having transmission problems but had managed to arrive in Warrensburg safely. I recommended Lindsay Transmission to look into his trouble and Kit Lindsay made a special effort to work this problem into his busy schedule. Of course, we were expecting the worst. It turned out that it was a simple hose problem that required little time and money. Obviously, Mr. Lindsay could have changed out the entire transmission or performed other costly repairs. He did not. He had applied the Four Way Test and the result was a very happy President's Representative and local District Governor. Since that time I have had other good reports of Mr. Lindsay's honesty and efficiency. Therefore, I would like to recommend to you Mr. Kit Lindsay, owner of Lindsay Transmission as my nominee for the Warrensburg Rotary Four Way Test Award.

Please accept my personal thanks extended to you and your crew for a job well done on my clutch and transmission of my 1991 !Isuzu Impulse RS. As I am sure you know, writing a check in excess of $1400 is NEVER entirely pleasurable whether it is written for pleasure, goods or -- as this case would have it-- services. However, I can say without question that my $1400 bought me personal and professional service I have rarely seen. Further, being a car nut, I thoroughly enjoyed the unofficial test ride in your personal vehicle, the only supercharged Chevrolet Pickup I am aware of. Your attitude, along with your ironclad warranty service, allows me to have full confidence in the work Lindsay Transmission has performed on my car. While it is my expressed intention to keep in contact with you and you crew as personal friends, it is my belief that I will not be requiring your transmission services on my Isuzu for quite some time.
